1. Sora Player: A Neutral Technical Utility

Sora Player (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Neutral Technical Utility. Our application is a playback framework that allows users to view locally stored media and third-party data streams. Much like a web browser, Sora Player does not host, provide, curate, or recommend any specific content. We act strictly as a technical tool for user-initiated media playback.

2. Data Processing & Deep Link Protocols

We prioritize your privacy. Most data handling within the App is ephemeral and localized. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

A) Deep Link & Custom Scheme Handling

The App responds to triggers from the following protocols to initialize the player:

• Verified Domains: soraplayer.in and soraplayer.qrtxt.site
• Custom URI Scheme: soraplayer://

Data received via these links (URLs, Titles, Referrers) is processed in-memory solely to launch the video player engine.

B) Deferred Deep Linking (24-Hour Storage)

To provide a seamless experience for new users, if a supported link is clicked while the App is not yet installed, the link data may be temporarily cached on our secure server for up to **24 hours**.

• Purpose: Upon first installation, the App retrieves this cached link to automatically play the content initially requested.
• Privacy: This data is anonymized, encrypted, and is never associated with your identity.
• Retention: All cached deferred links are automatically and permanently purged from our servers after 24 hours.

3. Advertising, Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use industry-standard third-party services to support and improve the App. These partners may collect technical identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID):

• Google AdMob: Used for ad delivery. (Manage via: Settings > Google > Ads).
• Google Analytics for Firebase: Used to understand app usage patterns and user engagement.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Used to collect anonymized crash reports to improve app stability.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: Used to send functional notifications (if enabled).

4. External Servers & Header Injection

When playing an online stream, the App connects directly to external third-party servers. Sora Player may locally inject standard HTTP headers (Referer/User-Agent) to ensure stream compatibility. We are not responsible for the data collection practices, cookies, or content of these external servers.

5. DMCA & Content Responsibility

Sora Player respects intellectual property rights. Users are strictly prohibited from using the App to access unauthorized copyrighted material. Since we do not host or store content, copyright holders must contact the original hosting provider for removal requests.
